Press Conference and Inauguration of the G. Versace Art Hall

Altafiumara Resort & Spa launches the Altafiumara Art Experience project with the official inauguration of the “Gianni Versace” Art Hall, which will feature a permanent exhibition by the renowned artist Natino Chirico and the Artists' Park. The resort's new management, the Chiringuito Group, which took over in 2022, has chosen to send a powerful message to artistic and cultural tourism, marking a significant turning point for both the region and the property.

Executive Chef Antonio Battaglia and Supervisor Gaetano Bevacqua have taken the initiative to integrate the world of art into the resort, paying a special tribute to two prominent figures from Reggio Calabria: Gianni Versace and Natino Chirico.

With the support of Art Curator Elisabetta Marcianò (Elmar) and the communication and marketing team led by Christian Zuin, the resort is entering a bold new era.

The Altafiumara Art Experience project is an innovation that transforms Altafiumara Resort & Spa into an international cultural and artistic epicenter. By offering an experience that blends culture, art, hospitality, and haute cuisine, the resort aims to:

A further expansion of the project includes the Parco degli Artisti (Artists' Park), an open-air area dedicated to art that will host works by local and international artists. This space promises to transform Altafiumara into an art sanctuary, featuring contributions from artists such as Fabio Santori from Rome and Cosimo Allera from Gioia Tauro.

The event, which includes a press conference and the official opening, will be held on April 23rd, starting at 3:30 PM. Attendees will include Antonio Battaglia, Gaetano Bevacqua, Gennaro di Meo, Christian Zuin, and Elisabetta Marcianò, alongside artists Natino Chirico, Fabio Santori, and Cosimo Allera, as well as institutional figures from the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria and the Calabria Region.
